credit solutions lied to me

Page 1 of 2 Do not use credit solutions.com. They misled me and outright lied to me. once I was in the contract, I could not back out. I paid them money and they did nothing to help me. in fact, they made my debt worse. the customer service was terrible. they never returned my calls. They gave me bad advice. I was supposed to have 3 years to pay off my debt and I was forced to pay it all in a year or go to court. Consult a lawyer before going with this company. it was the worst mistake I ever made....

Credit Solutions and their new company, Resqdebt is a joke. They are in business to scam people...nothing more. Doug, Carrie, and Matt are still in it together...they lie to customer and they lie to employees. All their adds are false and misleading...the Resqdebt 'about us ad' is a joke, the guy giving a testimonial is an employee...formerly with Credit Solutions and now with the "new company" totally not associated with Credit Solutions, even in Doug's building and getting $$ filtered through Lending.com and CSA...Resqdebt.
All BS...the real crime is why the FCC and Texas AG allow these people and these "two" companies to continue.

Credit solutions is a joke. It's true what the earlier post said that anything they can settle you can settle. And they hamstring you with payments to them and you dont have anything saved when they do get you a settlement offer which is usually very early in the program. The best settlements come after about 5 months of not making payments (just before the debt is charged off) but the collection agencies are a lot harder to deal with.
Credit solutions *** and their customer service was terrible. I wasted about $6000 on them and ended up settling 90% of my debt by myself. They even cost me a great settlement offer from BOA because they didnt bother to contact them at my request.
Horrible horrible company, dont give them a dime!

CREDIT SOLUTIONS IS WORST  LISTEN TO THEIR SALES PITCH. SALES SALES - EVERYONE WANTS A BUCK - and they certainly want theirs. It is business. They are reading off a card to calm your down. DON'T ENROLL - worst decision of my life.
All they want is your money - they not are calling the companies on your behalf. Collection calls are constant!!!!!!

All they want is your money - they not are calling the companies on your behalf. Collection calls are constant!!!!!!

Hey Joe - I assure you I'm a real person and I really got screwed by Credit Solutions. It seems there are quite a few people in that same boat. Like I said - ANYTHING THEY CAN SETTLE, YOU CAN SETTLE YOURSELF! They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. You can call up there and wait on hold for someone for 10 minutes - then get cut off so you can't leave a message. There is no reason to pay someone to settle your debts when you can do it yourself. Don't trust them. Save yourself the headache and money. Find another alternative. They WILL make matters worse.

Let's be realistic. My account for $125K was just settled this past March. And was done as it was explain to me. And the many horror stories here I'm going to be the positive one. We need help getting out of the deceptive practices of the credit card companies. The sign up for lower interest rate now and bump it to 21% for a late payment. I talked to a lawyer friend to see if its a good idea and he said "It's a regulated just like securities and insurance. Do you really think that if CSA was a scam that they would still be in business?" They helped me. *** these posts are probably from the credit card company employees trying to scare you out. It's a free message board with no real names. For the past 20 years credit card companies have gotten more rights to keep more of our money. So why not use a fake message board to do more of the same. They even changed the freaking bankruptcy laws to that you have to be living in a card board box to file now. You don't have to use CSA use any company you want. But don't let these credit card companies keep you bound to their contracts and steep interest rates. Get out as soon as you can. I did and it's going to cost me on my credit report. But I can actually say that they settled for me. It took me 4 years but guess what I got out from under the credit card companys. I'm a free man!
